I liked the game, very short, but cool idea , but i would suggest some improvments:
1º be able to make it faster or slower turning, to me for example i would like it would turn faster, it feels like is very slow turning
2º Have an arrow pointing where you have your ammo, comment: if you dont pick your ammo after picking it and you go to another guy, putting the ammo off screen, it might be a problem if you forget where you dropped it, soo just putting an arrow pointing to it would be a fix for this problem
These are very good suggestions, specially the second one. Thank you.
While I don't intend to work on Arrows Left anymore (I'm working on new projects) I'll be sure to take your suggestions if I ever visit the idea again in a future game.
I never thought I'd finish, but with a LOT of luck on my side I did it!
That was intense near the end! Good job.
The build you played had the wrong resolution causing the HUD to overlap.
Did you play a desktop version?
Edit: I've updated the build and hopefully fixed the issue.
I saved my village! First time playing as well - you've really got to think ahead to aim for the enemies.
Congratulations! A one-attempt clear is pretty rare.
I also did 1º attempt, harder mode would be cool
Nice. Seems like I've been getting better and better players.
This is the only game my dad plays and he has also asked me for a harder mode. This is something that I want to build in the future but isn't on development because of other projects.
Thank you for playing!
P.S. I played your LDJAM game and it's awesome!
so i can barely control the black dot and nothing happens
The game has a very unusual control scheme and it was experiment in how to teach it with an unintrusive tutorial.
I'll improve the control text for the web version (it's using the same as the android one)
Thank you for playing and thank you for your feeback
I have updated the game to provide better instructions and feedback, if you want to give it another shot.
The deliberately limited controls makes for a great challenge. Great game!
This was a neat little game! Very easy to understand as well. I was a bit annoyed at how wide the turns were, but that may have been intended for difficulty! All in all good job!
Thank you!
Interesting indeed and quite original, while adhering to the theme.
My only gripes with it are that the turning speed is so low it's a little too hard to recover from mistakes and the fact that the hitboxes of arrows are minuscule.
Still, with additional development and polishing, something like this could become a very good mobile game (the steering mechanic would be very easy to play with on touch-screens)!
Thank you for your feedback.
The slow turning speed is intentional, but I agree with the arrows hitbox.
I halved the pick-up range of arrows in the last hour of development to try and tune difficulty. It's beatable, but a little bit harder than it probably should've been.
Quite an interesting game, it took me a minute to get used to the controls and tight turns are not possible but it is certainly very close in adhering to the theme
